Tuesday Night I was leaving work and pulled onto Hurstbourne Lane from Linn Station Rd like I normally do. When the car that was in front of me in the left lane ran over a HUGE stone/rock in the middle of Hurstbourne Lane. The car then slammed on its gas making the stone spin of the tires and go flying in the air and then smashing into my front windshield scaring the boo boo out of me.
Luckily it didn't go through the windshield which is amazing if you seen how BIG that stone was. Glass shattered everywhere however it went on the passenger side and no glass to hit me what so ever. I was able to pull over the side of the road at the Circle K and a lady I work with was right there and saw the whole thing and told me what it was that hit me.(I thought a gun shot went off with the stone hit the windshield) Well, I made it home ok and thank God for AAA. I kept the GIGANTIC rock as a Testament to what happen. This was indeed an act of the Lord to keep me safe where not only did I NOT get hurt but it didn't cause any accidents.
The Good News is the Kentucky State Law requires it as a part of all insurance policies that any windshield must be replace at no cost to the driver (cause you pay for it in the premium). So it is getting replaced today. Well, I got a great sermon out of this experience and can't wait to preach it. The Bible says that the "Lord is the ROCK of my salvation" and he seemed to prove it in my life last night. :-) HA HA!!
Freak Out,
