What is wrong with the church today? Only 2% of the church biblically share their faith. That means that there are 98% of people that call themselves "Christians" not obeying the words of Jesus Himself. In Mark 16:15 Jesus said, "Go into all the world the preach the gospel to every creature." So we as Christians have a responsibility to "seek and save that which the lost." I believe that if a "Christian" is not concern about reaching the lost they are not saved themselves. What must we do to get the church to go into the streets? Since studying the teaching called The Way of the Master, I have been pondering this question for months. It seems the only way to get people to share their faith. Is to reward them with a $1000 for each person they witness too. If that was to happen we would have 4:00am Flashlight evangelism. It would be revival. Sometimes I wonder if even Jesus Christ himself appeared back in the flesh and command us to go Evangelise; the church would still find a excuse to not share their faith with complete strangers. Some may say that, "Well I tell people that Jesus loves them." However, is that really evangelizing? Without the preaching of sin and judgment; are we not preaching a DIFFERENT gospel? It is so important that we know the biblical way to sharing the gospel to the lost. You must use the Law to Bring the Knowledge of Sin. For Paul said in Romans 7:7, "...I would have not known sin but by the law." It is also said that the law is the schoolmaster for bringing us to Christ. We must warn people of HELL. The bible does say unless you repent you will perish. Perish means the second death. Hell is a real place. However, after sharing about the Law (Sin) and judgment (Hell) then we can then tell them of God's goodness (The Cross). That Jesus paid the Ultimate price. When he died on the Cross for our sins. We broke the law and he paid the fine. Then he rose again on the third day and defeated death and the grave.
